SquareTrade Wins Global Business Excellence Award for Customer Service

SquareTrade®, the top-rated protection plan trusted by millions of happy customers, today announced it won the UK’s prestigious Global Business Excellence Award for Outstanding Customer Service. Judged by an independent panel of industry executives across sectors, SquareTrade was singled out for its exceptional customer service and its “no-quibble, go-the-extra-mile” policies that are rapidly changing how consumers feel about extended warranties.

Commenting on SquareTrade’s win, Chairman of the Judges Andrew Areoff said, “SquareTrade is taking the consumer extended warranty industry by storm by offering a refreshing new approach to customer service in a sector that up until now was not known for helping customers to make a claim. Their no-quibble, go- the-extra-mile policies, SquareTrade puts the customer first and foremost. With business doubling every year, SquareTrade exemplifies how customer service is absolutely vital for business growth. Well done to SquareTrade for showing how important customer service is, even in after-sales follow-through.”

“Outstanding customer service is the fundamental core of our organization, and we are very proud of that. Customers expect real value and high quality service when they buy a SquareTrade extended warranty – a testament to the consistency and care we take with every interaction,” said Kevin Gillan, managing director of SquareTrade Europe. “Winning this award is important recognition of our approach to protecting people’s devices, and our disruption of an industry in sore need of change.”

Square trade really sucks!!! I have call (Claim services) around 15 times due to the fact that no one seems to know where my laptop is. It has been almost 2 months since i have sent my laptop for repairs and your company has not sent it back yet. The answer I get is ” Oh, we will call you back with an answer” no one never call back. And by the way, did I mentioned that this is the third time I sent the same laptop in for repairs. This company is full of crap. No one seems to know what they are doing. I have been dealing with you for the past 6 months and still i do not have my laptop.
Where is my laptop and when will i have it back?
I will never buy your services again and I will not recommend it to anyone.

  2. I guess Square trade is great unless you have to make a claim. I’ve been trying get satisfaction for about a month. They are like every other insurance company (trying everything they can to prevent any settlement). I’m a Senior Citizen,,a Veteran and a taxpayer. I guess I’m part of the American Public that gave this company opportunity to become the thieves and swindlers that they are

    • I’ve been on there site now for an hour and starting to realize there is no way to register my new tvs because I registered one with them a couple of years ago with Costco and dont recall my password. There is no “forgot password” button so your screwed unless you get a new Costco membership number. Seeing there is no “contact us” or any kind I think I’ll replace both warranties I purchased. This is a pile of crap company to operate like this.
Reminds me of the direction sony is going wiht there shit phone people and web/FB contact people. Also worthless!

  3. Company really sucks.

  4. I changed my email address but it won’t ‘stick’. Customer service is a farce. No way to contact anyone about this! Every contact mechanism is automated to keep customers from making direct contact! You must have paid them to give you that award! Your customer service stinks to high heavens!
